SEMINAR: Gentle Japanese Techniques

Staying Superficial to go Deep
Overview: This is a hands-on acupuncture seminar focusing on palpation, Teishin and superficial needling techniques. Morning and evening Qi Gong sessions will emphasize foundations of breathing and posture that support other elements of the practical training throughout the weekend.
This all inclusive retreat-style event includes:
- 2 days of training,
- 3 meals/day, and 2 nights accommodations on beautiful Damariscotta Lake in Jefferson, ME.

INSTRUCTORS:
Stephen Brown, LAc will introduce the work of his mentor Shudo Denmei and his sup
er-rotation technique (SRT) along with skills for engaging qi and feeling the arrival of qi in needling.
Mark Petruzzi, LAc; LMT will introduce the use of the Teishin needle (TST) from his mentor Takahiro Funamizu. Mark will demonstrate the power of point and channel stimulation without insertion, with wide applications for structural, mental/ emotional and internal/visceral imbalances.
These techniques shared by masters of their craft will inform and improve your practice.
